With two exciting rounds of the 2021 Formula DRIFT PRO season successfully under out belts, we look ahead to Round Three: The Gauntlet at Old Bridge Township Raceway in Englishtown, NJ. Taking place on June 18-19, it allows Formula DRIFT to finally make its mark at the brand-new, purpose-built drift arena, which replaces the NHRA drag strip. 

 

As the first dedicated drift arena in the USA, Englishtown will create a spectacular atmosphere, with crowds lining the course in tiered grandstands that ensure fans won’t miss any of the action.

 

FD NJ will feature Round Two of the PROSPEC Championship and Round Three of the premier PRO Championship. Running late into the night under floodlights, all FD PRO teams will again utilize under-car LED lighting provided by TYPE S, the Official Vehicle Lighting Partner of the series.

 

To promote its involvement, TYPE S and AutoZone are joining forces to sponsor the New Jersey round and enhance the fan experience both at the new track and away from it.

 

The excitement begins with a special AutoZone x TYPE S event at the East Brunswick AutoZone store. Stars of the show will be 2010 and 2020 Formula DRIFT PRO Champion, Vaughn Gittin Jr, teammate Chelsea DeNofa, and the RTR team. 

 

Not only will fans be able to meet the drivers and collect autographs but they will be supporting the AutoZone x TYPE S “Enhance Your Drive” promotion at the store. Any fans who buy a “Fun-Haver Pack” using their AutoZone Rewards account will be automatically entered to win prize packs.
